Mission Statement

We, the faith community of Blessed Sacrament Parish in unity with the surrounding communities in our mission of service to Jesus Christ, are entrusted and empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through loving service to others. We strive to be a community that keeps its faith by sharing it with others, especially those of our faith community. Our faith is nurtured and strengthened through the sharing of the divine body of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and through faithfully modeling of His life to others.

Following the instruction of St. Paul in 1 Timothy 6:11, "We the servants of God seek integrity, piety, faith, love, steadfastness and a gentle spirit."

Blessed Sacrament will

  • Become a more welcoming community of faith-filled people committed to knowing, loving, and serving all God's people.
  • Continue to offer additional ways that parishioners might gather for liturgical services and adult education to encourage the deepening of our Catholic faith.
  • Seek and develop an active, vital lay leadership to advance our parish ministries.
  • Seek to enhance the education of our youth and guide their moral, spiritual, and social growth by providing them with opportunities to be involved in the parish community.
  • Be a more informed parish by making use of technology as well as traditional ways to communicate all aspects of parish life.
